Thao Ha, Ph.D.
Dr. Ha is an Associate Professor in Psychology and director of the Healthy Experiences Across Relationships and Transitions Lab (@HEART Lab) at Arizona State University. She received her Ph.D. from Radboud University Nijmegen, the Netherlands.

Dr. Ha investigates the role of social media and emerging technologies in romantic relationships during adolescence, when love is in its most pure and vulnerable states but can be tipping points for shaping lifelong love and well-being.

Dr. Ha has received numerous awards, including the Rising Star award from Association for Psychological Science and the Young Scientist Award from the International Society for the Study of Behavioural Development.

She has received over 5.5 million dollars of funding for her research from federal (NIMH, NIAA, NIDA, and Dutch Scientific organization for Research) and foundation grants (Spencer Foundation, Arnold Ventures, and Mental Research Institute).

Liesel Sharabi, Ph.D.
Dr. Sharabi is an Associate Professor in Communication and director of the Relationships and Technology Lab (R&T Lab) at Arizona State University. She received her Ph.D. from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

Dr. Sharabi explores how emerging technologies are changing adult romantic relationships and the ways people meet, date, and fall in love.
​
Dr. Sharabi is an award-winning researcher, having recently received the Franklin Knower Article Award and the Early Career Award in Interpersonal Communication from the National Communication Association.

She writes about modern love for Psychology Today and has appeared in numerous media outlets like Bloomberg, Time, the BBC, and WIRED, as well as on podcasts like The Wall Street Journal Tech News Briefing, Stats + Stories by the American Statistical Association, and Speaking of Psychology by the American Psychological Association.
